WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Former Accuracy in Academia
executive director Leslie Carbone will discuss her book, Slaying Leviathan:
The Moral Case for Tax Reform, at the next Accuracy in Academia author's
night. The event will be held at Armand's pizzeria on Capitol Hill from 6:00
to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009.


Carbone describes her vision for a healthy America as one in which "Government
is servant, not master, fulfills its proper role, and is given due honor in
it. It protects life and secures property while respecting the will of the
people."

Leslie Carbone served as the director of Family Tax Policy at the Family
Research Council, chief of staff to the late assemblyman Gil Ferguson of
California, and a speechwriter for U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao. She
has lectured on more than 100 college campuses and has been interviewed on
more than 250 radio shows.
