General Manager for the Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe Resort
The Luxury All-Inclusive Resort is Scheduled to Open on December 15th in San
Jose del Cabo Mexico

FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Barcelo Crestline Corporation today
announced the appointment of Hernan Vanegas as General Manager for the new
Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe Resort in San Jose del Cabo Mexico. Mr.
Vanegas will also retain his position as Vice President of Asset Management
for Barcelo Crestline Corporation.

The property was acquired by Playa Hotels & Resorts, in 2007. Barcelo
Crestline Corporation provides asset management for the Playa portfolio of
properties. The original hotel on the site was closed in 2008 for a complete
renovation and expansion prior to its planned reopening on December 15, 2009.
The new all-suite, all inclusive resort includes 626 guest suites, nearly
35,000 square feet of meeting space, a luxury spa, five gourmet restaurants,
two buffet style restaurants, expansive pools and recreational facilities, as
well as a beachfront location.

Prior to joining Barcelo Crestline in 2007, Mr. Vanegas was the Managing
Director for the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in Mexico's Riviera Maya. His
extensive hospitality industry experience spans more than three decades. In
addition to holding senior management positions with Barcelo Hotels & Resorts,
he has enjoyed an extensive career with Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts, Singapore
Mandarin International Hotels & Resorts as well as holding management
positions for hotels in Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, the Philippines,
Colombia, Panama, Canada and the U.S.

Mr. Vanegas holds a Hotel Diploma from the internationally acclaimed Ecole
Hoteliere Lausanne, Switzerland. He also has earned numerous certifications
