NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
Several Endeavor Entrepreneurs from Chile, Colombia and Mexico will participate
in the State Department`s Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas conference that
will run from October 7-9, 2009 in Washington D.C. The conference will launch a
network of entrepreneurs that will promote access to markets, finance and
training for women throughout the Western Hemisphere.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton announced in May that the United
States would host this conference as part of the Pathways to Prosperity in the
Americas initiative. Pathways links together countries in the Americas to
identify policies and programs that ensure all citizens share in the benefits of
economic integration and globalization.

"Endeavor is delighted that its female entrepreneurs will participate in the
State Department`s Pathways to Prosperity event. We thank Secretary Clinton for
her leadership in making entrepreneurship and economic development a foreign
policy priority," said Endeavor Co-founder & CEO Linda Rottenberg.

Endeavor Entrepreneurs from Maraseed, Araucania Yarns, Life Systems Technology,
and L`Atelier du Chocolat are confirmed to attend.

Endeavor`s participation was facilitated by Ernst & Young. We are grateful to be
collaborating with them on supporting high-impact entrepreneurs in Latin
America, and their work to support growing businesses around the world.

About Endeavor

Endeavor breaks down barriers that prevent emerging-market entrepreneurs from
reaching their high-impact potential. Hailed by NYT columnist Thomas Friedman as
the "mentor capitalist" model, Endeavor identifies entrepreneurs leading
high-growth innovative companies in emerging markets. These entrepreneurs are
given world-class strategic advice, access to key networks and other tools that
will catapult them to success. With Endeavor's guidance they become
"high-impact" - expanding employment, generating wealth and inspiring others to
innovate. Often overlooked, these local entrepreneurs are now jumpstarting
private sector development in their countries.

As of 2008, Endeavor Entrepreneurs throughout Latin America, Egypt, India,
Jordan, South Africa and Turkey have created 98,000 new jobs and generated over
$3.15 billion in revenues. For more information, visit www.endeavor.org
