CNN's Soledad O'Brien to Speak at Hood Hargett Breakfast Club

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- CNN Special Correspondent Soledad
O'Brien will be in Charlotte Friday to speak to the Hood Hargett Breakfast
Club - the region's premier business networking group.


O'Brien covered Hurricane Katrina and the South Asian tsunami for CNN. She has
reported breaking news in the war in Iraq, as well as breaking news across the
United States. She also anchored major portions of CNN's coverage of President
Barack Obama's inauguration. 


Her recent projects include 2008's Black in America and 2009's Black in
America 2 - critically acclaimed documentaries that explored the state of the
black community 40 years after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.
