DURHAM, N.C.--(Business Wire)--
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin announced today that it will be a Silver
Sponsor in the annual Light the Night fundraiser to benefit the Eastern North
Carolina Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) on Oct. 22 in Durham,
North Carolina.

"A key part of our mission is to give back to the community which gives us so
much," says James S. Farrin, founder and president. "It is with great pride that
we support this worthy cause which has impacted so many of our neighbors,
families and friends."

The firm began its sponsorship with a $5,000 donation and has the goal of
raising an additional $2,500 in pledges generated by members of the firm. A
number of the firm`s employees have already signed up to walk, and others have
made individual donations.

"Everyone at James Scott Farrin understands how important it is to contribute to
the communities where we live and work," Farrin said.

Light the Night events are held each year in communities across the United
States and Canada. Individuals and teams gather pledges to raise money for blood
cancer research, education and patient support. Carrying illuminated balloons
thousands of walkers - men, women and children - form a community of caring,
bringing light to the dark world of cancer. To learn more, visit
