BOSTON, MA, Oct 08 (MARKET WIRE) --
ekit (www.ekit.com), the leading telecommunications provider to the
travel industry and international travelers, today announces additions to
the ekit Travel Journal for corporate use. Ideal for companies that send
numerous employees overseas for business, the additions to the Travel
Journal enable corporate travel managers to view the location of their
employees at any time on a Google map. Additionally, managers can zero in
on an employees' location, choose to send a message to one individual
employee or a message to a group of employees based on their location in
relation to cell phone towers in the area.

The ekit Travel Journal is an online service that automatically creates a
trip journal based on the location of the user's phone. It is a free,
value-added service included with the purchase of ekit international
phone packages and Passport SIM cards from its retail partner, Telestial.
The Travel Journal Web interface is also included with ekit's new
dual-number SIM card that enables travelers to receive phone calls to
either a U.K. or U.S. phone number simultaneously.

"The corporate additions to the Travel Journal make it easy for businesses
to see where their employees are and connect with them all in a moment's
notice," said John Diamond, ekit CEO. "From a risk management perspective,
companies have a responsibility to keep in touch with their employees when
they travel on business and our corporate mapping feature allows them to
connect quickly, efficiently and inexpensively," added Diamond.

Companies that use ekit's wireless services for phone and data also have
significant savings on wireless communications bills. Offering solutions
for many communications services, ekit typically saves business up to 70%
when compared to international roaming costs.

ekit recently audited two corporate clients' international roaming
expenses. One corporate spent an average of $1,350 per international trip
on roaming costs. They now use ekit, and have reduced the average spend to
$300, a saving of $1,050 per trip or a 77% saving. Another client was
spending $250,000 per annum on international roaming costs. With ekit they
will now spend only $70,000, a saving of $180,000 per annum.

ekit offers a wide range of products and services for business travelers,
co-branded customized collateral and Web sites for its partners, multiple
recharge options including auto-recharge, online, real-time billing for
expense claims and 24/7 toll-free customer support in seven languages.
