Home Outfitters will have Exclusive License to Produce Linens 'N Things
Branded Home and Living Goods in Canada





WEST ORANGE, N.J., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Linens 'N Things today announced it
has signed a license agreement with Home Outfitters, a division of Hudson's
Bay Company and one of Canada's largest home goods retailers, under which a
special line of Linens 'N Things branded home goods will be produced and
exclusively sold at Home Outfitters in Canada. The agreement, which includes a
broad range of bed and bath, home decor as well as seasonal products, extends
through 2016 and is projected to generate in excess of $100M in retail sales
over the term.

The high quality affordable home goods will premier in all 69 Home Outfitters
locations beginning in the spring of 2010. "We intend to build on and
cultivate the vast following of the Linens 'N Things brand in Canada," said
Kerry Mader, Senior Vice President of Hudson's Bay Company. "As a highly
recognized and trusted brand it will provide a quality and fashionable
alternative ideally suited for our customers."


The licensee agreement marks the re-emergence of the Linens 'N' Things brand
at store level since launching a popular on line shopping destination
www.lnt.com early this year.  Linens 'N Things has built an enormous customer
following throughout its 34-year history and is recognized as one of the top
two home brands in North America.  "This partnership marks a huge step toward
returning the iconic brand to retail stores," said Jamie Salter and echoed by
