Major Europe indexes seen up 0.9-1.1 pct-bookmakers

LONDON Oct 8 (Reuters) - European shares are set to open higher on Thursday ahead of rate decisions from the Bank of England and the European Central Bank, with sentiment improving following a surprise third-quarter profit by aluminium company Alcoa (AA.N).
Financial spreadbetters expected Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE to open up 39 to 45 points, or as much as 0.9 percent, Germany's DAX .GDAXI to open 47 to 60 points higher, or as much as 1.1 percent, and France's CAC 40 .FCHI to rise 29 to 33 points, or as much as 0.9 percent.
