ISTANBUL Oct 9 (Reuters) - A Turkish court has ruled in favour of Turkey's largest media company, Dogan Yayin (DYHOL.IS) in its challenge to a tax office demand for $3.3 billion in collateral for a tax fine, Dogan Yayin said on Friday.

Friday was the last day for Dogan Yayin to set aside the 4.8 billion lira for a record fine over tax irregularities which has raised concerns about the European Union candidate country's commitment to press freedom.
