Oct 9 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Friday.

** Kimberly-Clark Corp (KMB.N) said it plans to acquire I-Flow Corp IFLO.O, a maker of drug delivery systems, for $324 million, its second deal in one week to expand its medical device business.

** General Motors Co [GM.UL] signed an agreement to sell its Hummer SUV brand to China's Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery in a deal that marks the first time a Chinese buyer has acquired a distressed asset from the American auto industry. [ID:nN0975184]
** Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY.N), an oil and gas exploration and production company, said it agreed to buy Citigroup Inc's (C.N) controversial commodities trading unit Phibro for roughly its net asset value. [ID:nN0951468]
** Czech power group CEZ (CEZPsp.PR) said it has taken full ownership of two Romanian distributors after it agreed with Romania's Electrica SA to buy the remaining 19 percent stake in the pair for 145.36 million euros ($214.2 million). [ID:nL9621266]
** Sunrise Senior Living Inc (SRZ.N) said it would sell 21 of its assisted living communities to an affiliate of rival Brookdale Senior Living Inc (BKD.N) for $204 million. [ID:nBNG194047]
** MeadWestvaco Corp (MWV.N), which makes product packaging, said that it would sell its specialty papers unit to a company formed by two of its managers. [ID:nN0947363]
** Commerzbank (CBKG.DE) is selling two Belgian private banking units to meet an EU demand and as it concentrates on its core markets, Germany's No. 2 lender said. [ID:nL9635393]
** Spanish Industry Minister Miguel Sebastian said that his country had to be convinced of the business plan for Magna's MGa.TO planned takeover of Opel before it was prepared to discuss a financial contribution. [ID:nBAT003195]
** Southern Pacific Resource Corp STP.V said it will acquire producing heavy oil interests from a public oil and gas company for about C$90 million, a deal that will complement its STP-McKay oil sands project. [ID:nBNG462302]
** Health sciences company MDS Inc MDS.TO MDZ.N said it agreed to sell its Central Labs operations to private investment group Czura Thornton for about $8 million. [ID:nBNG157626]
** The Philippines' Lopez business clan might be prepared to sell its stake in Manila Electric Co, the family patriarch said, which could resolve a struggle for control of the country's largest power retailer. [ID:nMAN46495]
** Spain's Telefonica (TEF.MC) said it is still interested in buying Telecom Italia's TLIT.MC German broadband unit Hansenet but is trying to reach an agreement over the price. [ID:nL9570907]
** Asset management company East Capital has raised its stake in Lithuanian telecommunications operator TEO LT, TE01L.VL, target of a buyout bid from TeliaSonera (TLSN.ST), to above 5 percent, TEO said.
