RPT-GM CEO sees China auto market growing significantly

SHANGHAI Oct 13 (Reuters) - General Motors Co [GM.UL] Chief Exective Fritz Henderson said on Tuesday he expected the Chinese auto market, which has shown strong growth in recent months, to grow at a significant pace in the future.

GM said last week that its China vehicle sales surged 55.6 percent in the first nine months of this year from year-ago levels, surpassing forecasts.
