JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Colo5, a leading independent data
operator headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, today announced the
successful completion of its first Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) 70
Type I audit. The SAS 70 audit was conducted by Richter & Company, LLC, a
leading independent accounting and consulting firm that evaluated the
Company's internal operational controls and processes and expressed an
unqualified opinion thereof as of September 30, 2009. The audit was conducted
July through September 2009.

The SAS 70 audit is the primary auditing standard employed by service
organizations to demonstrate their internal controls and security practices to
their customers. Comprehensive in scope, the SAS 70 audit closely examines a
company's infrastructure, network security, physical security, computer
operations, and environmental security, among other critical areas.
Successfully completing a SAS 70 audit is widely recognized as an indication
that a service company has established the highest standard of controls over
its internal processes and procedures.

"We are pleased to have completed the SAS 70 audit successfully. Our
customers depend upon us to deliver uncompromising reliability and the highest
quality operations," stated Doug Recker, Colo5's CEO. He added, "Our
customers have confidence in our services and this certification validates our
strong value proposition. We place great emphasis on doing things the right
way; having our data operations and controls certified independently by a
third party validates that premise."

The SAS 70 report attests to a given data center having designed and placed
into operation an effective internal control environment to host and protect
clients' sensitive data. Developed by the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, the SAS 70 certification is a by-product of the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and specifically addresses data center operations
and internal controls. While the Sarbanes-Oxley act was originally intended
for the financial services industry, the SAS 70 audit has become known as a
principal standard for evaluating data center operations.

Recker noted, "This important milestone in our growth is consistent with
delivering top-notch, reliable services to a host of demanding clientele whose
data needs are central to their businesses. Our market reach is essentially
unlimited at this point. Financial institutions, insurance companies, and
health care servicers increasingly require exacting compliance with data
integrity standards. They have the peace of mind knowing they've partnered
with a first class operation in Colo5."

Colo5 soon plans to bolster its SAS 70 audit with other exacting
certifications, which will be announced shortly. The additional certifications
will help Colo5 meet the demands of recently signed customers as well as
future prospects.
