* KERBALA - Three explosions killed at least three people and wounded 20 in the Shi'ite holy city of Kerbala, 80 km (50 miles) southwest of Baghdad, police and health officials said.

* BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed at least seven people and wounded ten in a gold heist in Shula district in northwest Baghdad, hospital and police officials said. [ID:nLE209394]

BAGHDAD - A sticky bomb planted on a car wounded three people in central Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb wounded a local imam and his driver in Baghdad's northern Adhamiya district, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen opened fire and killed an off-duty security guard in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
