Controversial Dispute Between Mayra Veronica and Distribution Company Opting
to Publish Private Photos of the Cuban Artist

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- While Mayra Veronica is preparing her
2010 calendar for American troops, another company is coming out with photos
of the singer that have never been seen before. "Nude" photos that were
supposed to be for her personal use have been purchased and used to make a
calendar of the singer that is far more explicit.

Ironically, the company has decided to come out with these pictures just as
Mayra Veronica is getting ready to launch a single titled "A mala hora" (Bad
Timing), produced by Kike Santander.

It is said that the singer is quite upset about the photos in question, since
according to her they were not intended for public use, much less for
competition with her own calendar.

"It has nothing to do with being scantily attired, rather, that these photos
were for my private use, and not for the public domain," said MV.
