Lightweight programming library renders movement over time and increases
accuracy of GIS applications

EXTON, Pa., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), producer
of commercial off-the-shelf software for space, defense and intelligence
applications, recently expanded its product line to include Insight3D, a .NET
control that lets developers easily integrate 3-D visualization into their
desktop or Web-based applications. Based on AGI's 3-D graphics engine,
Insight3D supports terrain, imagery, 3-D models, satellite orbits, object
tracks, streaming video and more. Developers can model objects and their
motion within a scene and interact with them by object picking and flexible
viewpoint controls. The software will be demonstrated in AGI's booth #761 at
GEOINT 2009.

"With Insight3D, developers can render objects with smooth motion that
accounts for changes over time and view those objects from any angle or
position. This greatly enhances understanding and removes the uncertainty
inherent with static data," says Todd Smith, AGI product manager for
enterprise integration. "Insight3D also excels at adding air and space assets
to geographic data--such as depicting sensor coverage and air-to-ground
lines-of-sight. GIS professionals have begun to recognize the value of this,
and Insight3D makes it easy for them to add to their analyses."

Learn how to develop applications with Insight3D or add 3-D visualization to
existing applications by going to the AGI Developer Network (adn.agi.com) and
trying out the free AGI Components SDK.
