Zimbabwe court orders MDC's Bennett release on bail

HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's High Court on Friday ordered the release on bail of detained senior opposition MDC official Roy Bennett.
A court ruled earlier this week that Bennett -- the MDC Treasurer -- should stand trial on terrorism charges and ordered his detention. He is charged with illegally possessing arms for purposes of committing acts of terrorism which carries a maximum death sentence. Bennett denies the charge.
