NEW YORK (Reuters) - Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy has been fined $35,000 for criticizing the NBA's replacement referees, the league said on Friday.

Van Gundy was fined for comments he made that were published on Thursday, the league said in a statement. The Magic were also fined $35,000.

The NBA is using replacement referees while it tries to work out a labor agreement with its regular officials.
