LOS ANGELES, Oct 18 (Reuters) - Following are the top 10 films at the North American box office for the three-day weekend beginning on Oct. 16, led by the new release "Where the Wild Things Are," according to studio estimates compiled on Sunday by Reuters.

"Zombieland" and "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" were released by Columbia Pictures. "The Stepfather" was released by Screen Gems, a unit of Sony Corp (6758.T) (SNE.N).
"Paranormal Activity" was released by Paramount Pictures, a unit of Viacom Inc VIAb.N.
"Toy Story/Toy Story 2" was released by Walt Disney
