Sunni group claims attack on Guards force: report

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iranian state television said a Sunni rebel group had claimed responsibility for Sunday's attack on the elite Revolutionary Guards in the country's southeast.

State television said 29 people were killed in the attack and 28 were wounded, citing Iran's state security council.

"Rigi's terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack," it said, referring to Abdolmalek Rigi, leader of Jundollah (God's soldiers).
