"More and more, HR professionals are being asked to play a larger role in
providing strategic leadership and helping to manage change," said Harry C.
Katz, Kenneth F. Kahn Dean, ILR School. "The ILR School has the leading HR
faculty in the world, with expertise in leadership development, organizational
agility, and talent management. This new online program gives HR professionals
a unique opportunity to interact with and learn from prominent HR thought
leaders, and to take away practical information that can help their
organizations move forward in this time of economic recovery. The online
'blended' format of the new program allows HR professionals to gain exposure
to state-of-the-art thinking and network with classmates while avoiding travel
costs."

Graduate Certificate students will be able to customize their curriculum by
choosing to concentrate in two of three specialization tracks in employee
relations, engaging talent, and HR Strategy; participating in an eight-week
Graduate Certificate student-only cohort in business leadership skills;
attending four online Webcasts by ILR faculty on topics of critical importance
to the HR function; and developing a personal portfolio that journals the
application of what they're learning to their own professional circumstances.

Successful students will complete the program in as little as nine months
having developed advanced human resources skills and mastered the techniques
necessary to execute in a business environment. They will earn a Cornell
credential worth nine credits towards a master's degree from the ILR School.

The program is delivered by eCornell using its proven instructor-led
Structured Flexibility model that combines the structure of a well-defined
course schedule, the flexibility of online learning, and access to
subject-matter expert instructors to contextualize the learning and guide the
learner to successful completion.

Tuition for the program is $10,800. Each student will work with an enrollment
counselor to customize a course schedule to meet his or her personal and
professional schedules.
