ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Wall posts, photo tags and
questionnaires are used on social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace
to help friends and families connect; Produce for Kids, an organization that
promotes healthy eating for children, is utilizing Facebook to assess your
fresh produce personality.

The Play with Your Produce Personality Quiz helps Facebook users become better
acquainted with themselves by discovering their inner-produce, while
simultaneously raising awareness about the importance of eating fresh fruits
and vegetables.

The 10-question quiz takes just minutes to complete. The personal and silly
questions identify the quiz-taker's character traits and match each
personality type with a fruit or vegetable that is most relatable to the user.
After completing the quiz, each user is encouraged to join the PFK Facebook
Page to meet someone else who matches their personality, fall madly in love
and live "apple-ly" ever after -- well what a "peachy keen" thought.

"The goal of the Produce for Kids Facebook quiz is our way of getting people
excited about healthy-eating and getting them to reveal something new about
themselves to their individual social network," said Heidi McIntyre, executive
director of Produce For Kids. "We're not being scientific, but we are serious
about raising awareness about the benefits of eating healthy with more fruits
and vegetables."

A study conducted by the Perishables Group found that only 18 percent of the
parents surveyed said their children eat the recommended three or more
servings of fresh fruits and vegetables each day. Produce for Kids seeks to
educate parents, teachers and children about how to combat these unhealthy
trends. To take the quiz now visit: http://bit.ly/PFKQuiz.
