Premier Research Names Bernard Sweeney as Executive Director, Medical Devices

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Premier Research Group Limited, the
international pharmaceutical and medical device services company, announces
the appointment of Bernard Sweeney as Executive Director, Medical Devices. In
this position, Mr. Sweeney will play a leading role in the operations,
strategic planning, and corporate development of Premier Research's growing
portfolio of medical device business. He will be based in Premier Research's
Swiss office.


Mr. Sweeney has more than 20 years experience in medical device research and
development, during which time he has supervised clinical trials leading to
the market approval of more than 20 new products. He joins us from the British
Standards Institute (BSi) where he had been the Director of Healthcare
responsible for providing global regulatory approvals leading to market access
for medical device companies across the world. Prior to his time at BSi, Mr.
Sweeney held positions at both government agencies and medical devices
manufacturers including Medilink East Midlands and Femcare Nikomed Group.
