iControl Networks Hires Energy Industry Veteran to Guide Company's Energy
Management Solution Strategy

PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- iControl Networks, a leader in
broadband home management, today announces the addition of energy industry
leader Letha McLaren to its executive team. For the past 12 years, McLaren
has worked successfully with utilities to advance smart grid solutions. In
this new role, McLaren will manage iControl ConnectedLife Energy Management,
the company's soon-to-launch broadband-based home energy management solution.

McLaren comes to iControl from Landis+Gyr (formally The Bayard Group), a
leading smart metering and energy management solutions provider, where she was
the General Manager of Energy Management and Applications. Prior to this
role, McLaren was the Director of Software Product Management at Cellnet
Technology, the leading automated meter reading services provider that was
acquired by The Bayard Group/Landis+Gyr. She also held product management and
software design engineering roles at Schlumberger for the company's
utility-focused automated metering division.

"iControl's ConnectedLife Energy Management solution will revolutionize the
way utilities and service providers approach energy management," said Paul
Dawes, CEO of iControl. "Our approach is significantly different than what's
offered in the marketplace today, and we need the right person to drive the
strategy and product development that will provide our partners with the best
possible energy solutions. McLaren's experience and vision is a perfect match
for iControl, and we are very excited about the possibilities this addition
will present for our company."

McLaren has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from
Southern Tech in Marietta, GA and a Global MBA from the Georgia Institute of
Technology in Atlanta, GA.
