Depomed, Inc. to Announce Third Quarter 2009 Financial Results on October 29, 2009

Depomed, Inc. (NASDAQ:DEPO) announced today that it will release third quarter
2009 financial results after the market closes Thursday, October 29, 2009. The
company will host a conference call beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET, 2:00 p.m. PT to
discuss its results.

The conference call will also be available via a live webcast on the investor
relations section of Depomed`s website at http://www.depomed.com. Access the
website 15 minutes prior to the start of the call to download and install any
