Singapore Hot Stocks-Keppel Corp, SATS in focus after earnings

 SINGAPORE, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Keppel Corp (KPLM.SI), the
world's largest offshore oil rig builder, will be in focus on
Friday after reported a 17 percent rise in its quarterly net
profit and Deutsche Bank raised its target price to S$11.20
($8.05) from S$9.40.
 U.S. stocks rose on Thursday after quarterly results from
insurer Travelers and regional bank PNC Financial gave a boost

 Stocks and factors to watch:
 -- KEPPEL CORPORATION (KPLM.SI)
 - Keppel Corp posted on Thursday a lower-than-expected 17.1
percent rise in third quarter net profit, helped by lower
operating costs.
 - Deutsche Bank raised on Friday its target price on Keppel
Corp to S$11.20 ($8.05) from S$9.40, but the brokerage keep its

 - J.P.Morgan raised its target price on Keppel slightly to
S$9.70 from S$9.50 and keep its "overweight" rating on the
stock.
 -- SINGAPORE AIRPORT TERMINAL SERVICES (SATS) SIAT.SI
 - UBS raised its recommendation on Singapore Airport
Terminal Services to "Buy" from "Neutral" and increased its
target price to S$3.00 from S$2.85 previously.
 - Singapore Airport Terminal Services reported on Thursday
a 26 percent rise in its quarterly net profit to S$40.9

 - Singapore's benchmark Straits Times Index .FTSTI fell
0.39 percent to 2,681.97 points on Thursday.
- Asian stocks are set to gain on Friday after a solid round
of corporate results on Wall Street lifted hopes on a

 - The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI rose 1.33 percent
to 10,081.31 points while the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC rose
0.68 percent to 2,165.29 points.
