New Industry Group Aims to Make 'Solar' Matter to Every American and Expand
the Market for Solar Power in the Process

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- SolarVisionaries.Org (SVO) is
looking to put the solar industry on the map. Everywhere on the map!

Founded by Joseph Boyce, a passionate advocate for the industry and a leading
voice for solar, SVO, a non-profit whose goal is to elevate the message and
expand the audience for the solar industry, will host a series of on-camera
interviews with industry luminaries at this year's SPI Conference in Anaheim,
CA. SVO will speak with the minds that will lead the last leg of the solar
revolution -- rapid deployment and high volume manufacturing -- taking solar
from a niche technology to a core energy resource for the world.

SolarVisionaries.Org aims to bridge the gap between the solar industry and the
American public. "Let's show Americans how we will be able to light and heat
their homes. Let's talk about how Solar can reignite our economy by creating
jobs right here in America! SolarVisionaries.Org will provide a forum, where
solar industry leaders can take a step back from policy, and share their
high-level ideas and vision for the industry with the people on Main Street,"
says Boyce.

Mr. Boyce is off to a stellar start. He has already enlisted the support of
leaders like Sungevity, The Prometheus Institute, GAIA Worldwide and Spire
Corporation -- a leading provider of solar manufacturing equipment and turnkey
solar module factories. Spire has taken the lead in supporting SVO's
initiative to expand knowledge and drive end-user demand for solar in the
United States. As founding sponsors of SolarVisionaries.Org at SPI 2009,
Spire Corp., Sungevity, The Prometheus Institute and GAIA Worldwide will be
introduced to hundreds of thousands of people across America, from all
industries and backgrounds to get the full story of the economic benefits that
clean, renewable energy brings to our country.

"During the 80's and 90's, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, and Andy Grove became
cultural icons, changing the world, creating wealth and opportunity for
millions -- IT IS OUR TIME NOW! And that's why I founded Solar Visionaries.
I encourage our industry's leaders to collaborate with us to bring solar to
the mainstream," urges Mr. Boyce.

Solar Visionaries will kick-off its much anticipated work on October 27 at SPI
2009, with a series of on-site interviews hosted by supermodel and solar
advocate Melissa Baker. "Melissa is a young, dynamic and concerned celebrity
who wants to do something about the lack of energy diversity in the U.S. and
by lending her voice in support of solar, she will not only reenergize the
talent within our industry, but also raise awareness among the mass consumer
audience, delivering a message that Americans can personally relate to --
making them feel connected, and motivating them to take action," adds Boyce.

Proceeds from Solar Visionaries will be donated to the leading solar industry
advocacy groups SEIA, SEPA, and VoteSolar.
