TEHRAN (Reuters) - A senior Iranian MP said U.N. inspectors had carried out their mission to visit a newly-disclosed uranium enrichment plant and he suggested they may leave Iran later Monday, a news agency reported.

ISNA news agency said Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of parliament's National Security and Foreign Affairs committee, referred to reports that the U.N. experts would leave Iran later Monday.

"They have done their job and because their mission was to visit the site and this has taken place...leaving Iran after the inspection is a normal issue."

The inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency arrived in Iran Sunday for a visit that was expected to last several days.
