Sony optic drives probed by anti-trust regulators

TOKYO (Reuters) - Sony Corp (6758.T) said on Monday its optic disc drive business is under investigation for possible antitrust violations, and its U.S. unit Sony Optiarc America has been told to provide information to a U.S. watchdog.

"We understand that other countries are also investigating competition in optic disc drives," Sony said in a statement.
