Mexico's Homex posts 28 pct rise in quarterly net

MEXICO CITY Oct 27 (Reuters) - Mexican homebuilder Homex (HOMEX.MX) posted a 28 percent rise in third-quarter net profit on Tuesday.
Homex (HXM.N) said its net profit in the July-September period was 447 million pesos ($33 million), up from 348 million pesos in the year-ago quarter. ($1=13.5035 pesos at end-Sept) (Reporting by Noel Randewich; Editing by Gary Hill)
