Bankruptcy judge approves Questex bidding plan

Oct 27 (Reuters) - A U.S. bankruptcy judge on Monday approved bidding procedures for bankrupt trader publisher Questex Media, court filings showed.

Judge Mary Walrath scheduled the auction on Nov. 20 and a sale hearing on Nov 24.

Earlier this month, the company filed a motion saying it had received a stalking horse bid of $120 million from QMG Acquisition LLC and sought the sale of all its assets through a court supervised auction.

Questex, which filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 5, publishes 23 print magazines such as American Spa and Hotel & Motel Management and sponsors 28 conferences. It also has more than 150 trade websites.
