Rogers prices C$1 bln in senior notes - term sheet

TORONTO Oct 28 (Reuters) - Rogers Communications Inc (RCIb.TO) priced C$1 billion ($926 million) of senior notes in two parts, according to a term sheet seen by Reuters on Wednesday.
The term sheet said the wireless and cable television provider priced a C$500 million, 5.38 percent bond due Nov. 4, 2019, at C$99.931 to yield 5.389 percent, or 189.9 basis points over the Canadian government yield curve.
Toronto-based Rogers also priced another C$500 million, 6.68 percent issue due Nov. 4, 2039, at C$99.897 to yield 6.688 percent. The issue was priced at 270.1 basis points over the Canadian government curve.
The underwriting syndicate included the investment dealer arms of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO), Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS.TO), Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD.TO), Bank of Montreal (BMO.TO) and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM.TO).
