Xebec Appoints John Fyfe as Vice President Sales and Marketing

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Oct 29 (MARKET WIRE) --
Xebec Adsorption Inc. (TSX: XBC) ("Xebec"), manufacturer of biogas
upgrading plants and natural gas and hydrogen purification equipment,
announced today the appointment of Mr. John Fyfe to the position of Vice
President of Sales and Marketing. John will be responsible for building
and executing a global sales strategy to support Xebec's growth
objectives in 2010 and beyond.
Prior to joining Xebec, John held senior executive sales roles within
Parker Hannifin Ltd., where he developed the sales and marketing team
leading to significant growth of the gas generation business. John was
also responsible for successfully developing new international markets
and establishing global alliances with third-party distributors and key
OEM partners. John previously worked for Babcock Power and GEC Alsthom on
the implementation of large-scale energy projects in the UK, Zimbabwe,
India and China.

John holds a master's degree from the Durham University Business School
as well as an electrical and electronic engineering degree from Paisley

John will report directly to President and CEO Kurt Sorschak. His
appointment is effective January 4th, 2010.
