Private Media Group Achieves 100% Coverage in France, Europe's Largest VOD
Market, Through Agreement With Numericable




BARCELONA, Spain, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --  Private Media Group, Inc.
(Nasdaq: PRVT) a worldwide leader in premium quality adult entertainment
content, today announced an agreement to offer its vast library of content on
the video on demand (VOD) services of Numericable, France's leading cable TV
operator, which holds 99.6% of the French cable TV market. Following the
agreement with Numericable, Private content is now available to near 100% of
the total French VOD market. 

France is today the principal VOD market in Europe and probably the fastest
growing. In 2008 Private's VOD sales in France rose by 129% compared to 2007.
The latest study released by the CNC(i) shows that total revenues for French
VOD rose by 84% in 2008 to Euro 53 million, compared to 2007. Further figures
indicate that the adult share of total VOD sales grew from 30% to 37% for
2008. 

As the largest cable TV operator in France, Numericable offers quadruple play
services (Internet, fixed telephony, wireless telephony, TV) to approximately
8.3 million homes, representing 30% of all French households. Private was
chosen as one of two adult content suppliers for Video Club Prive, the premium
adult category on Numericable's video on demand (VOD) service.
