Matrox display controller boards to power high-end PACS workstations at RSNA
2009

MONTREAL, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading
manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions, is pleased to announce that
Rogan-Delft has validated the Matrox Xenia(TM) display controller boards with
the Zillion suite for radiology workstations. The software suite contains a
number of products integrating all aspects of the radiological workflow,
including Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving and
Communication System (PACS), and Cross Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS)
solutions. Rogan-Delft will be demonstrating Zillion suite with the Xenia
Series boards at RSNA 2009 (North Building, Hall B: #8909).

"Matrox has proven to be a reliable partner providing stable products that our
service partners can rely on," says Menno Timmer, Product Manager,
Rogan-Delft. "Xenia is the board our partners have been waiting for, an
all-in-one solution perfectly suited for the highly demanding work environment
found in a radiology department."

Ease-of-installation is a key benefit of Matrox Xenia boards, according to a
recent interview with Menno Timmer. Timmer identifies time-saving features
such as the single board/single driver and a simplified configuration tool for
deploying the typical three-display radiology workstation.

Matrox Xenia is the first native PCI Express single-slot board with
all-digital, triple-monitor output, and the flexibility to drive an array of
display configurations. Xenia Series supports resolutions from under 1MP to
8MP, with up to 1GB of on-board memory, and features new technology to ensure
optimum display calibration (via Matrox DLC(TM) and 8/10/13-bit gamma LUTs).
Xenia also provides medical imaging developers and integrators looking for
leading edge technology the development potential for increasing
hardware-accelerated performance via hardware LUTs, multiple hardware window
IDs, and additional hardware features.
