Delaware Valley Human Resources Departments to Unite in Celebration of Their
Industry

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2009 HR Department of the Year
Awards is a program that was created in 1998 to recognize outstanding human
resources departments in the Delaware Valley. The 2009 dinner and awards
presentation will be held November 19, 2009 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the
Crystal Tea Room. Bill Henley, NBC 10's respected meteorologist and "10! Show"
co-host will be the master of ceremonies.

All HR professionals and those in positions that support the HR function are
invited to attend the evening full of camaraderie and networking with the

Nominees will be awarded in one of seven categories, including employee
relations, talent acquisition, leadership development, technology, diversity,
benefits or employee wellness. Plus, this year the new CEO of the Year Award

service improvements for customers, and ensured the welfare and performance of
all employees with a proven awareness of the human resources function and its
