Citi`s Contribution Will Help Fund `Finance Park` Financial Education Program

Junior Achievement of Southern California announced that Citi (NYSE: C) is
donating $50,000 to the organization`s "Finance Park" financial education
program - an effort to improve the financial literacy of young people. Vikram
Pandit, Citi`s Chief Executive Officer, presented the donation and outlined
details of Citi`s commitment to financial education at Junior Achievement`s
Southern California office in Los Angeles.

The Finance Park is a five-week, teacher-led, standards-based, financial
education program that introduces personal financial planning and career
exploration, culminating in a day-long visit at Junior Achievement`s Finance
Park site. Since 1999, Citi has made 13 grants totaling $385,500 to Junior
Achievement of Southern California to support financial literacy, particularly
through programs that benefit students from underserved communities.

Gary W. Hickman, President and CEO of Junior Achievement (Southern California),
said, "We are grateful and encouraged by Citi`s generous donation and commitment
to our mission. Citi`s $50,000 contribution will greatly enhance our financial
education curriculum and will help Junior Achievement continue to grow
tremendously and lead the way in teaching personal financial responsibility."

"Junior Achievement's 'Finance Park' program is an example of the important work
being done to educate young people on credit and debt, saving and investing,
money management, and career goals," said Rebecca Macieira-Kaufmann, President
of Citibank California. "Citi is a longtime supporter of Junior Achievement, and
we are pleased that this contribution will directly benefit the communities we
both serve."

Citi is also a major sponsor of Junior Achievement worldwide. Since 2004, Citi
and the Citi Foundation have contributed more than $20 million to Junior
Achievement programs across the globe.
