MADRID Oct 29 (Reuters) - Spanish broadcaster Telecinco (TL5.MC) posted on Thursday a 72.8 percent drop in net profit as an advertising slump continued to weigh on its performance.

Net profit fell to 62.2 million euros ($92.28 million), well ahead of analysts forecasts in a Reuters poll for 41.3 million euros.

Total net revenues fell 41.2 percent to 432.3 million euros compared with a forecast for 431 million euros. (Reporting by Elisabeth O'Leary; Editing by Paul Day)
