PARIS Nov 2 (Reuters) - French new passenger car sales rose 20.1 percent in October compared with a year ago, the CCFA carmakers' association said on Monday.

The CCFA added that sales were up 4.2 percent over the first 10 months of the year.

Car sales around the world have been boosted by government measures to give drivers cash incentives to trade in their old cars for new, greener models.
