Dubai's Drake & Scull Q3 net profit $19 mln

DUBAI Nov 2 (Reuters) - Dubai-based contractor Drake & Scull International DSI.DU recorded a third-quarter net profit of 71 million dirhams ($19.33 million), it said on Monday.

Drake -- which specialises in mechanical, engineering and plumbing businesses and listed on the Dubai Financial Market in March -- made a net profit of 239 million dirhams in the first nine months of the year, up nearly 50 percent from the same period in 2008, it said in a statement.

Drake made a net profit of 86.56 million dirhams in the second quarter of 2009. (Reporting by Jason Benham; Editing by Firouz Sedarat)
