OTTAWA, ONTARIO, Nov 02 (MARKET WIRE) --

Media are invited to attend the 10th Forum on Hydropower, November 3-4,
2009, at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. Organised by the
Canadian Hydropower Association, the annual event focuses this year on
hydropower's role in economic growth and development while contributing
to the reduction of greenhouse gases and pollution. High-level speakers
will address such issues as energy trends with Aboriginal communities and
hydropower sales and carbon trading.
A panel discussion on opportunities for low-emitting energies will be
facilitated by Johanne Gelinas, specialist on corporate responsibility
and sustainability at Deloitte. The panellists are: Elizabeth McDonald,
Canadian Solar Industries Association; Jean-Francois Nolet, Canadian Wind
Energy Association; Claudia Lemieux, Canadian Nuclear Association; and
John Murphy, Ontario Power Generation.
