HONG KONG, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Inspur Group Co., Ltd
("Inspur Group"), parent company of Inspur International Limited (SEHK: 596),
ranked third among the "500 Competitive Corporations in China 2008," announced
by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the National Bureau
of Statistics of the PRC in Beijing on 24 October, and was the only IT
corporation ranked among the top 100.

of financial turmoil, with both economic efficiency indexes and
competitiveness integrated indexes of corporations in China dropping slightly,

Competitive Corporations in China'. All of these are leveraged on the Group's
continuous beliefs in creativity and internationalization to enhance
integrated competitiveness of the brand."

Group has been sustained as 6% of turnover for many years, which is the
highest among the IT industry, and towers over the ratio of R&D expenditure as
1.2% of total turnover of corporations in China in 2008, which illustrates the

crisis."
In 2008, Inspur Group not only recorded growth despite the financial
crisis, but also acquired remarkable development internationally. Inspur

The "500 Competitive Corporations in China 2008" is a nationwide
corporation research conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics, which is
divided into a capability index and structural index according to the
competitive criteria of corporations. The Capability index is comprised of 47
criteria in three categories of sustainability, development and potential,
while the structural index is comprised of 11 criteria in five categories of
policy, strategy, incentive, management and innovation. Through a series of
scientific analysis and processes, research teams of the National Bureau of
Statistics finally came up with optimum ratios among all criteria, adding to
the competitiveness index.
