ENERCON Acquires Beckett & LaRue of Georgia and Florida

TULSA, Okla., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Enercon Services, Inc (ENERCON),
headquartered in Tulsa, Okla., has acquired Beckett & LaRue, an engineering
and consulting firm with offices  in Marietta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida.
The company is primarily known for their engineering and design of
Transmission and Distribution (T&D) systems. They will become part of
ENERCON's Power Generation Services (PGS) group, adding power delivery to the
long list of services currently provided by ENERCON to operating power plants
and development of new power plants.  

ENERCON's Vice President of PGS Carter Noland said: "Beckett & LaRue is a
strategic fit to ENERCON's long range plan for diversified growth in the
electric power industry. They bring power distribution and delivery expertise
that complements the power generation services currently provided by our PGS
division. The initiatives that the country is pursuing to realign the sources
of power generation will require extensive design for new transmission and
distribution, as well as upgrades to existing power grids. Beckett & LaRue
aligns very well with ENERCON's Environmental and Industrial Services division
which supports the environmental permitting and studies required to install
new transmission lines."
