Omnitek Becomes Exclusive Distributor of Luxfer CNG Cylinders in Peru

SAN MARCOS, Calif. and RIVERSIDE, Calif., Nov. 2, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
Omnitek Engineering Corporation (Other OTC:OMTK) and Luxfer Gas Cylinders today
announced an agreement under which Omnitek has become the exclusive distributor
of Luxfer's Type 3 lightweight composite cylinders for medium- and heavy-duty
vehicles in Peru, with Omnitek utilizing the cylinders for diesel engine
conversions to compressed natural gas (CNG).
"We intend to aggressively pursue diesel-to-natural gas conversions of medium-
and heavy-duty trucks and buses in Peru and anticipate many applications for
Luxfer's Type 3 CNG cylinders, especially when large volumes of gas and lighter
