WTO Director-General Pascal Lamy to Hold Media Briefing on November 3rd

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Nov 02 (MARKET WIRE) --
Pascal Lamy, director-general of the World Trade Organization (WTO), will
hold a media briefing prior to being honoured with the Globalist of the
Year Award at the Canadian International Council's (CIC) annual Gala
Dinner on November 3.
The media briefing will take place at 5:30 pm in Truffles, Four Seasons
Hotel, 21 Avenue Road, Toronto.
Mr. Lamy has been director-general of the World Trade Organization since
September 2005. He was elected for the post by the members of the WTO in
2005 for a four-year mandate and was re-elected in 2009 for a second
mandate that runs until 2013.
The Globalist of the Year Award is presented annually to an individual
whose work and personal initiatives contribute to better international
relations and cooperation, while enhancing the quality and tenor of
international understanding.
