Free online video collection by the American Diabetes Association and Liberty
Medical provides practical tips and advice for living with diabetes

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- This week begins American
Diabetes Month® - a time devoted to diabetes awareness and education that
coincides with the launch of a new campaign by the American Diabetes
Association called StopDiabetes(SM).

The American Diabetes Association and one of its National Strategic Partners,
Liberty Medical Supply, Inc., have posted a collection of online educational
videos to give diabetes patients practical tips and advice for living with the
disease and avoiding its serious complications. The videos are available for
viewing on www.stopdiabetes.com in the "learn" section and
http://www.libertymedical.com/press/. Topics covered include symptoms and
risks of diabetes, weight management tips, exercise tips, an overview of
insulin delivery methods, tips on caring for a parent, and understanding the
ABCs of diabetes - A1C, blood pressure, and cholesterol measurements.

According to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes has reached epidemic
proportions with nearly 24 million children and adults currently living with
diabetes and another 57 million Americans with pre-diabetes. The disease leads
to life-threatening complications such as heart disease, stroke, kidney
disease, blindness and amputation.

The Internet video collection features Dr. Sue Kirkman, vice president of
Clinical Affairs of the American Diabetes Association. It is sponsored and
produced by Liberty Medical, a Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MHS)
company.

"In observation of American Diabetes Month we wanted to raise awareness about
how to effectively manage diabetes whether for oneself or as a caregiver. We
encourage everyone dealing with diabetes to access and share this series of
educational videos with others," said Laizer Kornwasser, Medco senior vice
president and Liberty Medical president. "At Liberty, we are committed to
providing comprehensive care to people with diabetes so that they may live a
better life. Together, with the American Diabetes Association, we hope that
this video series advances that goal."

"Education is a key component to the Stop Diabetes movement," commented George
Huntley, Chair of the Board, American Diabetes Association. "The more
Americans know about living a healthy lifestyle and properly managing their
diabetes, the closer we come to stopping diabetes once and for all."
