WSFS Partners with Sunday Breakfast Mission

WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WSFS Financial Corporation
(Nasdaq: WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced a partnership
with the Sunday Breakfast Mission to sponsor the 2009 Great Thanksgiving Food
Drive.  WSFS Bank has sponsored the Great Thanksgiving Food Drive since 2003.
In 2008, WSFS branches collected 37 tons of food, representing a 10 ton
increase over 2007. WSFS once again, hopes to exceed the 2008 goal by 10 tons.
In 1893, The Sunday Breakfast Mission began its ministry in Delaware and has
"provided rest for the body and peace for the soul" of the homeless.

Last week, WSFS Bank began collecting non-perishable food at all 37 WSFS
banking offices and will continue to do so until December 5, 2009.  Donated
food will be used to fill more than 700 family food packages.

are challenging economic times for everyone but most especially for the
homeless, who need our help more now than ever."
