COPENHAGEN Nov 3 (Reuters) - Loan impairment charges at Denmark's Danske Bank (DANSKE.CO) are likely to stay "relatively high" for several quarters, the bank's chief executive said on Tuesday.

"We have not made any prognosis for our impairment charges in 2010, (but) we believe the expectation should be that there will be relatively high impairment charges for quite a number of quarters to come," CEO Peter Straarup said in a conference call on the bank's third-quarter results.
