Competitive Business Telecom Provider Expands Service Area and High Bandwidth
Telecom Services
DENVER--(Business Wire)--
Integra Telecom Inc., a facilities-based, integrated communications provider for
business, has invested an additional $3 million in its Colorado telecom network.
By upgrading its best-in-class telecommunications network, Integra has expanded
its service area and added product offerings to include:

* VPN solutions: an Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP-VPN) service
providing a secure, multi-site, private network.
* Integra`s Network Solutions: a secure private network transport service.
* Ethernet Solutions Metro E IP: increased Internet bandwidth for business via
native Ethernet protocol.

"We`re excited to have made such substantial investments in our Colorado network
and to expand our service area and portfolio of voice and data solutions for
businesses," said Ken Worcester, senior vice president of Integra Telecom of
Colorado. "These services give Integra customers a competitive edge by
eliminating excess costs, streamlining multiple telecommunications systems and
providing robust connectivity."

Through its recent investments, Integra Telecom expanded its Colorado service
area to include: Loveland, Pikeview, Aberdeen, and Montbello. With these
additions, Integra`s new services, as well as its full suite of business
telecommunications solutions, are available to businesses in 30 communities
throughout the Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver and Fort Collins, Colo. areas.

"We see tremendous potential in Colorado as local businesses continue to demand
the personalized service and diverse portfolio of customized voice and data
solutions that Integra offers. Our recent investments will position Integra to
best serve Colorado businesses; providing the reliable services and responsive
customer care our customers have come to expect," continued Worcester.

VPN and Integra`s Network Solutions

Integra`s IP-VPN and Network Solutions are both delivered using Multi-Protocol
Label Switching (MPLS) technology, which allows business customers to combine
voice, data and Internet traffic onto a single cost-effective and easy-to-manage
IP-based network that scales as their business grows.

Integra`s MPLS technologies provide customers the security and reliability of
private line telecommunications with the simplicity, speed and scalability of
packet-based networks. Integra customers using MPLS technology maintain the
option to control their network or have Integra configure and maintain equipment
and routing instructions to best use the network while supporting, voice, data,
video, and other mission-critical applications. The technology is customizable
for business networks of all sizes, and locations can be easily added or
removed.

Benefits of Integra Telecom`s MPLS Technology:

* Connect and mesh multiple locations with an array of access types, upgrade
bandwidth and change network configuration with minimal effort and cost.
* Converge multiple applications and traffic types onto a single network.
* Allow network managers to give voice and data applications priority, as
needed, using Quality of Service (QoS) tagging or Class of Service (CoS)
priority.

These new products are currently available in select Integra Telecom service
areas. To confirm availability, please visit www.integratelecom.com.

Integra Ethernet Solutions

Integra`s new Ethernet Solutions provides a native Ethernet connection without
the extensive costs of building a direct fiber connection. Integra`s Ethernet
Solutions offers options of five, 10, 15, 20 or 30 megabits per second (Mbps) of
full-duplex, symmetrical IP bandwidth; ensuring equal upload and download
speeds. These increments allow for growth, while making it possible for
customers to choose a bandwidth that meets their current business needs.

In addition to Ethernet and MPLS services, Integra Telecom launched Broadband
Internet services for Colorado businesses in August. Integra`s Broadband
Internet provides enterprise-level Internet access at rates that fit the small
and medium-sized business budget.

Integra Telecom is one of the largest competitive telecom providers in the
nation, serving more than 130,000 businesses in 11 primarily Western states. The
company is one of the few competitive telecom providers to own and operate its
own fiber-optic network and the only one that staffs local call centers in each
market it serves. This allows Integra to deliver a premium, high-touch,
personalized service experience to businesses seeking an alternative to the
regional monopoly carriers or residential cable companies.
