HELSINKI Nov 3 (Reuters) - Sony Ericsson (6758.T)(ERICb.ST) unveiled its new X10 flagship phone on Tuesday, its first to run on Google's (GOOG.O) Android operating system, but plans to start to sell it only next year. Loss-making Sony Ericsson, the world's fourth largest handset maker, has suffered since 2008 from a lack of attractive high-end cellphone models in its offering, and saw overall sales shrinking 45 percent from a year ago in the last quarter.

The X10 will have a 4.0 inches wide capacitive touch screen, it uses Qualcomm's (QCOM.O) Snapdragon processor, and it comes with 8.1 megapixel camera. (Reporting by Tarmo Virki; editing by Simon Jessop)
