New Issue- Abbey National Treasury sells $1.5 bln notes

  Nov 4 (Reuters) - Abbey National Treasury Services Plc on
Wednesday sold $1.5 billion of five-year notes in the 144a
private placement market, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters unit.
  Barclays and Credit Suisse were the joint bookrunning
managers for the sale.
